Aims of the course:

TUCO is piloting a bespoke Code of Practice for managing food allergens on campus, designed specifically to meet TUCO members’ needs. The pilot will be launched in July 2017 and the main scheme will be launched in July 2018. This course will enable participants to hear about good management systems and practices regarding compliance on food allergens and to contribute to the final scheme. The Code will be accredited by TUCO and the organisation is seeking external endorsement for the final scheme.

Who should attend:

Middle to senior managers with responsibility for food safety and compliance in their businesses as well as staff training, communication with customers and staff.

About the trainer:

This session will be facilitated by Fiona Horne of Bowthorne’s.  Fiona had delivered a number of accredited training courses on food allergens and special diets for the TUCO Academy and is very familiar with the plethora of other accreditation schemes in the market place. Fiona has helped TUCO to develop the Code
