Aims of the course:

This day is for managers and supervisors in any institution with ambitions to effectively grow their own workforce through by offering appropriate training at entry level to staff in all service departments.

Aims of the day:

Participants will learn about the following:

• Training and learning styles
• How people learn
• Evaluating training methods
• Assessment methods
• Giving and receiving feedback
• The role of the coach

Who should attend?

Managers and supervisors in any department who are or may be responsible for the coaching and mentoring of trainees and apprentices.
Why should you attend?

Ensuring that new staff and apprentices have a well thought out training plan supported by a knowledgeable manager or supervisor is a major investment of time and effort by any institution. Getting the best outcome for any trainee or apprentice and their employer is critical not only to business success but also to creating a really well-grounded workforce.

About the trainer:

The workshop will be delivered by Fiona Horne of Bowthornes. Her company offers a full range of accredited qualifications and bespoke training programmes. Bowthornes work with businesses and organisations across the UK to provide top quality in-house training.

Travel and Accommodation:

TUCO HQ is located at Nation House 3rd Floor, 36 St Ann Street, Manchester, M2 7LE. It is a short walk from Manchester Piccadilly Train Station and Victoria Train Station.

TUCO Ltd have a corporate contract with Motel One Hotel. The cost per room (single occupancy) is £69.00 INC VAT and has a 100% cancellation fee up to 6pm on the day of the reservation. To benefit from this contract please quote TUCO at the time of booking.
