The course will be based at London South Bank University (LSBU) and will include both classroom time in understanding the requirements of ‘making a business case’ for developments but also include an assessment of the hospitality offer at LSBU through some on site analysis of the offer and then working in groups to identify potential developments and the research and analysis that would be required to ‘make the case.’ Those on the course will then go back to their place of work, undertake a study to ‘make the case’ for a new product or product extension, write it up and upload it for assessment by LSBU Academic staff.

This course is aimed at equipping operational managers with the skills required to identify opportunities to grow their business operation either through new product development, identifying new target markets or adding value to existing products.
The workshop has been designed by Dr Duncan Tyler, Associate Professor and Head of Division for Urban, Environment and Tourism of London South Bank University and delivered by Miguel Dias Cost of London South Bank University.
