Philip Dennis Foodservice is a regional catering supplier with a reputation for superior levels of service, knowledge and passion. Established as a family business over 100 years ago by Philip Dennis (now chaired by his son John Dennis), we pride ourselves on developing trusted, rewarding relationships built upon strong family values.

We are a leading supplier of fresh meat, fish, chilled, ambient, frozen foods and non-food.  Our Premier Selection range offers a choice of premium ingredients and fine foods. We have three depots North Devon Barnstaple, Oxfordshire Witney and Midlands Brierley Hill. All depots deliver on a one stop shop basis.


Our butchery division, Dennis Family Butchers, began with our first shop in North Devon before the First World War, our reputation for exceptional butchery skills and superb quality meats.  From our highly accredited, modern butchery facilities, we prepare our meats to the exact cut, size and quantity that suit our customers. We are the sole supplier of the acclaimed, multi award-winning Devon and Cornwall Prime Beef and Exmoor National Park Beef.


Dennis Family Fishmongers are a registered buyer of first sale fish and the only supplier of fish under the Lundy brand. We offer a complete filleting and bespoke preparation service, allowing our customers to have the freshest fish supplied exactly as they need it.


As members of a national buying group called Caterforce, we gain the benefits of buying power whilst enjoying the flexibility of our independence. We are also committed to a vast range of green initiatives in place across the company – including ourown 80m tall wind turbineat our Ilfracombe depot.
