A warm welcome to Competitions 2018!
Every year we look to develop the whole Competition experience. So, with the valuable competitor feedback we received from this year’s event, coupled with the ideas from our experienced competition committee, 2018 is going to be a bumper year for enhancements.
Here’s a taster of some key changes for 2018:
- The Barista Challenge now allows competitors to select their own beans for the competition, giving them real choice and a chance to experiment with new flavour combinations to ‘wow’ the judges
- The Bar Skills competition has been upgraded, moving to centre stage, and will run over two days
- The Salon Culinaire had a record number of entries in our last event – so we have increased the size of the display, giving the competition its own room to showcase all the entries
There’s more to announce as we get closer to the event, in terms of what guests and supporters can benefit from by joining us at the 2018 event, so watch this space!
So, the time is now to prepare your entries and submit them online, use the back button at the top of this page to return to the main menu and enter your chosen category.
Once again, the entry fee is only paid once per competitor. This allows someone entering the Speed Cook Challenge to also submit a Salon entry, or to perhaps join a team in the Chefs’ Challenge, while only paying one entry fee.
