Catering Services are responsible for the Catered Halls of Residence on University Park and Jubilee Campus, Nottingham Conferences, Delivered Catering and Events and a range of Café’s and Bars located across the University of Nottingham’s UK sites.
We are looking for an experienced and professional Catering specialist with excellent management skills to lead our successful Catering Team. You will be required to challenge existing process and lead change as and when required promoting a “can do” culture within the team. Reporting to the Catering, Hospitality & Conferencing Director you will oversee the day to operations of the Catering Services Department, developing the strategy and enhancing the offer we provide while ensuring the highest standards of product quality and customer service are attained at all times.
The successful candidate will provide strategic direction for the catering and hospitality areas of the University, creating and implementing a commercial strategy and will provide high level expert advice relating to the introduction of innovative Catering offers. You will also be responsible for overseeing all major projects and refurbishments within the Catering Department working closely with the Head of Business Performance to develop tender documentation and will liaise with internal departments and external partners to ensure compliance with all Food Safety and Health and Safety regulatory requirements.
Salary scale is £52560 to £62727 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience, with a closing date for applications of Monday 31st May.
