David Foad, editor of Public Sector Catering, said: “Congratulations to all those who have made it through the judging process to the shortlists. Your efforts have been rewarded already, and it will get even better for the category winners when they are announced at the Public Sector Catering Awards night on April 4th at the Hilton London Metropole in Edgware Road.
“A word, too, for those who have not quite made it as finalists. The judging feedback I’ve received has consistently made the point that many potentially very good entries let themselves down by a failure to offer enough evidence of the good work being done.
“I would encourage anyone whose nomination failed to make the cut to try again. Give judges the full picture they need by sharing the data, the case studies and examples of the positive impact your colleagues and teams have had."
