Reporting to the Head of Business Development, this person will be responsible for growing spend through TUCO agreements and uptake of events. This is a new, and critical, role for TUCO and the individual must be talented, enthusiastic and at ease communicating with senior members of staff within our membership.
The position is home-based however there will also be significant travel across the UK to our members and visits to our Manchester Head Office. North West, Midlands or Yorkshire would suit.
The post holder will identify new internal, external key clients and business opportunities, building strong customer relations including attendance at roadshows and exhibitions, networking and familiarisation visits as required.
We are looking for an energetic person with a keen work ethic and ability to engage and build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. A business development professional, who has a robust commercial skill-set. Knowledge and experience of the education sector and/or hospitality would be advantageous.
