As part of the work of the TUCO Chair’s Charity, Phil Rees-Jones – TUCO Chair – has donated to the DEC Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal on behalf of TUCO.
The DEC – Disasters Emergency Committee – support families fleeing the conflict by providing food, shelter, water and healthcare. Already, more than 1 million people have fled their homes in Ukraine, with an estimated 4 million expected to face uncertainty by having to leave their homes.
DEC charities are in Ukraine and neighbouring countries meeting the needs of all refugees and displaced people:
- £30 could provide essential hygiene supplies for three people for one month
- £50 could provide blankets for four families
- £100 could provide emergency food for two families for one month
