On a Roll Sandwich Company (OAR) originally started in a spare room in a local bakery in 2006. James Stoddart, the entrepreneur behind the business, soon realized that there was a market for his fresh, quality, sandwiches and decided to fit out a purpose-built manufacturing unit at Easter Park in Middlesbrough.

Due to rapid growth, in 2014 OAR decided to invest in a brand-new, state of the art factory, The Pantry, building from the ground up with sustainability being the main focus for the design and ensuring minimal usage of limited natural resources. Having achieved BRC Grade AA accreditation year on year, the Pantry constantly delivers the highest possible hygiene standards with full traceability, clear labelling and excellent microbiological results.

The Pantry has a ‘zero to landfill’ policy and are proud to have a plastic free retail range whilst also achieving their target of eliminating single use plastics and black plastic from their supply chain. By working closely with the local supply chain for all their needs, this ensures minimum food miles and the freshest products are delivered daily to customers. All of OAR’s products are ‘made to order’, meeting all budgetary and dietary requirements.

Having recently launched their new retail menu, customers can keep their chillers stocked and fatigue at bay with fresh products including sandwich wedges (from simple fills, to classic favourites, to deli options), pastas, salads, wraps, subs and hot eats. This range is also complimented by unrivalled on-going account support and a range of free bespoke POS materials to help maximize sales.
