Overview
Startfresh Limited are a medium sized company founded in 1996. Our premises (including head office, general offices and storage distribution and manufacturing) are all based within one depot, and this is located within a secure purpose-built food park alongside the home of the food and drink forum in Nottinghamshire. The food park is a gated secure entrance only We mostly supply customers within the Midlands area but do supply ready meal manufacturers as far as Hartlepool.
Startfresh are suppliers of high-quality fruit and vegetables to the catering trade, councils. academic institutions, and ready meal manufacturers. The produce supplied is both prepared and unprepared with many of the produce being supplied to specific specifications of the customer. We supply a variety of cuts including diced, sliced, and peeled products alongside a variety of prepared mixes such as coleslaw mix, Ratatouille mix, fresh cut stir fry mix and supply handmade vegetable kebabs and fruit salad. We can source and supply many rare and exotic produce and work closely to required specifications.
Startfresh Ltd are BRC accredited to a Double A grade standard (AA+) and are also accredited in organic supply.
Startfresh regularly keep customers up to date with promotional and seasonal offers and we regularly send our customer a quality update with notifications and forecasts, this report details end of season issues, new country of origins for produce and any sizing or quality issues.
We work closely with local farms, local suppliers and where possible we do purchase our produce as locally as we can. For example, we currently purchase carrots, potatoes and root veg from the fields surrounding Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. We offer customers regular up to date reports on local supply.
