Unico, together with The Scottish Fine Soaps company, is part of Alexander Ross Holdings – based in Falkirk, Central Scotland.
The group dates back to 1923 when The Union Chemical and Antiseptic Company was founded - its ownership and management remain in the founding family. In total the group has 113 full-time employees and has a turnover of approximately £18m.
Unico is an integrated manufacturer and wholesaler of Janitorial, Hygiene and Catering disposable products, the company has its own on-site manufacturing, laboratory, design and marketing teams.
Unico’s customer base includes Local Authorities, Universities, Nursing homes as well as a wide variety of HORECA (hotels, restaurants and catering) businesses.
