So you think you can make a sandwich?
How many sandwiches do you produce at your university? We all know the standard and most popular ranges, how about coming up with something new.
Competitors will have 30-minutes to produce one hot and one cold sandwich, served plated and garnished appropriately.
All ingredients must be supplied by the competitor
Competition duration: 30-minutes
The competition is open to all levels and is an opportunity to demonstrate team work, skills and talent.
An audience will be able to watch as our eight kitchen stations cook the food in front of them.
Equipment provided in the kitchens include;
- induction hob and oven
- electric salamander grill
- preparation tables
As this is a live competition there will be spectators and you will be filmed with your work being shown on the main screens.
A full information pack will be sent to all competitors once we have announced the finalists.
Our judges will offer written feedback to all entrants.
