Who is this for?
This study tour has been developed for chefs, retail managers, event managers and members of the team who are responsible for purchasing alcohol.
Why should I take part?
This study tour is designed to showcase leading examples of wine, prosecco, beer and olive oil. Along with the cuisine of Northern Italy, this is a celebration of fresh ingredients, traditional recipes, and craftsmanship paired with some of the most respected wines in the world and a testament to the rich culinary heritage of the region.
How will it help me?
During the event, you will…
- Network with likeminded TUCO Academy members from institutions across the UK, creating links for your institution making your network stronger and building confidence and motivation amongst teams
- Experience, wine and Grappa tastings and a Prosecco masterclass
- Examine current offerings from the existing market
- Make (and eat) your own pasta and pair wine from the region
- Visit the Peroni Brewery
- Visit a North Italian Vineyard
- Experience an Olive oil tutorial
- Visit Treviso, Padua and Venice and eat authentic North Italian cuisine
What’s included?
- Overnight accommodation in Italy
- Food and drink each day
- Travel around Northern Italy and refreshments throughout
- Return Flights to Venice

Anything not listed on the itinerary including, but not limited to:
- Additional drinks, room service, etc.
Provisional Itinerary:
Final itineraries will be emailed approx. 1 week prior to Tour commencement.
TBC - Day one on the 2nd of September will start at Manchester for a flight to Venice that departs at 08:00 so please consider travel and accommodation as check in will be @06:00. Day four on the 5th of September was arriving back at approx 23:30 but the flight has been moved to an earlier slot and will be in Manchester at 21:50.
