What is Bidfood’s Christmas Gift?
Tens of thousands of people in the catering and hospitality industry give up their Christmas and Boxing day to make Christmas special for others. We run this campaign to celebrate their generosity and give back Christmas to a handful of those who are most deserving, whilst highlighting the work they do every festive season, right across the hospitality sector.
How does it work?
Nominations are now open on our website. All you have to do is nominate an individual who is most deserving of receiving the gift of Christmas back for themselves and their family. Nominations can be made for anyone who prepares or serves food and drink to customers (chefs, kitchen hands, serving, bar, waiting staff are all eligible) on Christmas Day or Boxing Day, either last year or is on the roster for this year.
Nominations close on Friday, 15th November at 11.59pm.
Bidfood will then shortlist entries before a panel of leading industry figures (full details on webpage) will review the shortlist and select FOUR winners who will each receive £200 to spend in a restaurant of their choice and £100 of experience vouchers. There will be a winner in each of the four categories which are listed on the webpage linked above.
